Are we
nothing more than just grasshoppers to the Almighty God, Jehovah?
The Scripture
partially quoted above may indicate that.

But, reason
on what would happen if one day while sitting in the grass enjoying the
summer day, you found a grasshopper on the lawn. And to your great surprise,
it hopped onto your leg and then into your hand. This would indeed be cause
for surprise. But, then you said,"Get off my hand grasshopper" and immediately
it did and jumped back onto your leg. You might be surprised to see this
happen. So, to make sure it was just a coincidence you say to the grasshopper,
" Jump back into my hand." Immediately that grasshopper jumped back into
your hand. You can't believe what just took place and are just amazed beyond
words.
You began
to give orders to this grasshopper, with the hopes no one is watching.
" Get on my left shoulder" and that is exactly what the grasshopper immediately,
without hesitation did. "Get on my right shoulder." I did just so.
You began
to feel you have indeed found something very special and perhaps even very
valuable. Then to your great dismay, after giving several orders obeyed
by this grasshopper, he jumps into the grass. You cannot see him and you
look so hard because this is no ordinary grasshopper. This one is very
special because it is so obedient to you.
This
is the kind of feelings Jehovah has for those who are not just humans,
but obedient ones. They are very priceless
to Jehovah. He looks at the world of humankind and takes out from among
them the
very special
obedient ones and treasures them as precious to Him.
So next
time this system keeps telling you that you are worthless and no good.
Or when you get discouraged because you were unable to do what you would
like to do, to please our Grand Creator.
Remember
the small insignificant grasshopper and it may lift you up and give you
the joy you need to
keep you
moving ever forward in your precious relationship with Jehovah, who knows
you are so special and treasures you so much.
